22 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2006 ਨੂੰ ਐਸ.ਡੀ. ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਸੈਕੈਂਡਰੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿੱਚ 10 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਕੈਂਪ ਲੱਗਾ | ਕੈਂਪ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਧਾਨ ਪੰਨਾ ਲਾਲ ਗੋਇਲ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਧਾਨਗੀ ਜਨਰਲ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਿਵਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ | ਕੈਂਪ ਵਿੱਚ 72 ਲੜਕੇ ਤੇ 68 ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਭਾਗ ਲੈ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ |

22 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2006 ਨੂੰ ਐਸ.ਐਸ.ਜੈਨ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੈਨ ਸਾਧਵੀ ਡਾ. ਅਰਚਨਾ ਜੀ ਦਾ 52ਵਾਂ ਜਨਮੋਤਸਵ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਤੇ ਪਰੇਮ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ | ਜੈਨ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਧਾਨ ਪਰੇਮ ਚੰਦ ਜੈਨ ਤੇ ਜੈਨ ਹੈਪੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਮੈਨੇਜਰ ਡਾ. ਅਰਿਹੰਤ ਜੈਨ, ਪੂਰਵ ਪ੍ਧਾਨ ਦੀਵਾਨ ਚੰਦ ਜੈਨ, ਸੁਨੀਲ ਜੈਨ ਆਦਿ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਚੇਚੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਹਾਜਰ ਹੋਏ | ਸਾਧਵੀ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ 5 ਬੁਰਾਈਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਪਰੇਰਣਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ |

Opium Seized

DSP Jagjit Singh Gill of CIA Staff Barnala has seized 2kg Opium from nearby village Dhanaula. The culprit Vijay Kumar belonged to Hanumangarh. The incident occured near popular Hanuman Mandir in Dhanaula.

Laal Jhanda Punjab Bhatha Union Meeting

A meeting of the Union will be held on 21.01.2006 as told by Maan Singh, Vice President.

Rs 68.71 lacs disbursed under Ashirwad & other schemes : Dist Welfare Officer

Mr Parminder Singh Gill presided over a function.

Disbursed amounts as follows:

-Marriages of SC/Christian girls, re-marriage of girls of any caste: Rs 6100 each for 511 girls = Rs 31,17,100 under Ashirwad Scheme.

Seminar was also addressed by Dr H.C.Rajpal and Dr Agyajit from Punjabi University, Patiala.

Telephone Directory containing details of residents of 22 Acre and 16 Acre scheme area has been released by Improve Trust Chairman, Mr Parmjit Singh Mann. Mr B.L.Markan is President of 16 Acre Committee and Mr Jhanda Ram Bansal is President of 22 Acre Committee.

Barnala Welfare Club distributed shoes / socks etc to school children

211 shoes, 15 dozen socks distributed to school children of EGS Centre Prem Nagar, Rahi Basti, Sanghera. Jointly organised by Barnala Welfare Club with Thikriwal Dera. Mr Sushil Goyal is President of Barnala Welfare Club and Gurmeet Singh is Mahant of Dera.
